DESCRIPTION:
Made in England by Lesney and produced from 1972 to 1982 the Fork Lift Truck has taken many guises. Largely produced in Red (although there is an Orange version) the chief differences have been the steering wheel (either plastic or cast into the body) and the colour of the Forks and Hoist. The Forks can be Red, Yellow, Grey or Black and the Hoist Yellow or Unpainted. Models with the extended Red forks tend to bring in the higher value and the cast steering wheel is less common than the later plastic version.

This particular model is Red with Yellow forks and an unpainted Hoist. The model is in mint condition being used only ever for display purposes.

BOX:
The original box (Type I1) is in very good condition, extremely minor scuffing to corners with good colour retention and firmness with all end flaps intact.

GAUGE / SCALE:
Known as 'Box Scale' (made to fit the box) Matchbox 1-75 and Superfast vehicles vary in scale and can be anything between 1:50 / 1:110

GRADE:
C12 - Mint

NB: Our grading system was obviously created for Die-cast models and is occasionally applied to others (plastic vehicles, locomotives, rolling stock, etc.) to help give an indication of an items condition or comparison against a new one of the same type. In these instances it can only be used to compare appearance and not operational suitability.
