Playfix was a trading name of VEB Plasticart a company first established in East Germany in 1958. Over the years the company underwent a number of name changes including Mastermodell Gmbh and in the UK Playfix and Nu-Bee. The company is still in existance in Germany but no longer produces models kits instead specialises in the production of toys for the toddler market.
