Italeri was founded in the early 1960's by two very close friends, Gian Pietro Parmeggiani and Giuliano Malservisi. From childhood, both had developed a fascination with model Airplanes and Military Vehicles but soon became bored with the few examples available and so decided to start producing their own. Once the Italeri company was born the model range increased rapidly and soon the company became a major player on the international model scene. Still in production today the business is recognised around the world for its accuracy and quality of product.
