DESCRIPTION:
Made in England by Lesney and produced from 1970 to 1975 the Freeman Inter-City Commuter was released in three different colours Metallic Purple, Metallic Gold and Metallic Red. All variants have off-white interior and with the exception of a small number of the Metallic Gold version all carry the arrow style decal.

This particular model in Metallic Purple was one of the early releases. The vehicle is in excellent condition being used only ever for display purposes.

BOX:
The original box (Type G2) is also in excellent condition. Ususal age related scuffing and displays evidence of minor crushing (barely noticable) but has good colour retention and shape with no markings.

GAUGE / SCALE:
Known as 'Box Scale' (made to fit the box) Matchbox 1-75 and Superfast vehicles vary in scale and can be anything between 1:50 / 1:110

GRADE:
C08 - Excellent

NB: Our grading system was obviously created for Die-cast models and is occasionally applied to others (plastic vehicles, locomotives, rolling stock, etc.) to help give an indication of an items condition or comparison against a new one of the same type. In these instances it can only be used to compare appearance and not operational suitability.
