DESCRIPTION:
Made in England by Lesney and produced between 1969 and 1981 the first models were released in metallic red which was changed to red in 1971.

This particular model is an early edition being in metallic red with grey base. The model is in mint condition coming from a private collection.

BOX:
The original box (Type I2) is in good condition with an aged repair to one end flap. All flaps are present.

GAUGE / SCALE:
Known as 'Box Scale' (made to fit the box) Matchbox 1-75 and Superfast vehicles vary in scale and can be anything between 1:50 / 1:110

GRADE:
C12 - Mint

NB: Our grading system was obviously created for Die-cast models and is occasionally applied to others (plastic vehicles, locomotives, rolling stock, etc.) to help give an indication of an items condition or comparison against a new one of the same type. In these instances it can only be used to compare appearance and not operational suitability.
