DESCRIPTION:
Hand Painted metal products of fine quaity Made in China by King and Country

The 6x4 SD KFZ 231 produced between 1930 to 1936 was derived from the Daimler-Benz truck but this was considered to lack mobility and to be slow and underpowered. A much improved 8x8 design was produced from 1937 with a more powerful engine leading to greater mobility and speed. Equipped with a 20mm autocannon to deal with 'soft-skin' armoured vehicles and a 7.92mm MG34 this much improved fighting vehicle lead the German attacks into both Czecoslovakia and Poland.

The model we have here is ex-display (internal display only and always behind glass) with no fading to paintwork and remains in new condition.
