DESCRIPTION:
This Triumph Herald Saloon was first released by Meccano Ltd (Dinky), England in 1959. Originally available in two colour versions both Blue/White and as this model Green/White.

This popular model was later produced in numerous colours to represent the 'real thing'.

Heavy rubbing to raised edges and scuffs leading to paint removal in places still do not detract from its overall appearance. In general a good collectors item.

BOX:
The box we have is unfortunately a low grade replica with incorrect colour spot. It also demonstrates scuffing and general wear however it still serves as a reasonable accompaniment.

NB: Our grading system was obviously created for Die-cast models and is occasionally applied to others (plastic vehicles, locomotives, rolling stock, etc.) to help give an indication of an items condition or comparison against a new one of the same type. In these instances it can only be used to compare appearance and not operational suitability.
