DESCRIPTION:

The Bedford Articulated Lorry has been released with three different numbers. First as 521 in 1948 then 921 between 1954 and 1956 and finally as 409 between 1956 and 1963. The model displayed here is a very good example of the 409 addition. Downgraded due to a number of small, some barely visible, chips in the paintwork appearing mostly on the top edge of the trailer. The defects do not really distract from the overall appearance of the vehicle which is a nice bright example. Would display well.

BOX:
The original lift off lid box is in fair condition. A little grubby and some scuffing to top edges but both top and bottom are bright and completely intact.

NB: Our grading system was obviously created for Die-cast models and is occasionally applied to others (plastic vehicles, locomotives, rolling stock, etc.) to help give an indication of an items condition or comparison against a new one of the same type. In these instances it can only be used to compare appearance and not operational suitability.
