DESCRIPTION:
Made
in England by Lesney and produced from 1978 to 1982 the Snorkel Fire
Engine was one of a number of Fire Engines produced by Lesney. Other
than early pre-production models as you might expect the model was
always produced in Red. Early models in Light Red and the later models
in Dark Red. There are variants in windows to be had mostly Blue but
rare Amber are available and the later models had White cherry pickers
as opposed to Yellow.
This
particular model is in the Darker Red with Blue windows.
The vehicle is in mint condition being used only ever for display purposes.
BOX:
The
original box (Type K) is in excellent condition, with good colour retention and firmness with all end flaps
intact.
GAUGE / SCALE:
Known as
'Box Scale' (made to fit the box) Matchbox 1-75 and Superfast vehicles
vary in scale and can be anything between 1:50 / 1:110
GRADE:
C12 - Mint
