DESCRIPTION:
Made in England by Lesney and produced between 1976 and 1983 the first Datsun 260-Z was produced in Crimson but went on to become Blue then Red, Silver and finally Black with all except Silver and Black being Metallic. Interiors can be Yellow, Red, White and Black and the bases can also vary.

Here we have a 1978 version in Metallic Crimson. The model is in mint condition and comes from a private collection.

BOX:
The original box (Type K) is in very good condition if a liitle grubby. There is a tear in one end flap but both end and side flaps are present. The original price is written in pencil on one end which you can just see in one of the photo's.

GAUGE / SCALE:
Known as 'Box Scale' (made to fit the box) Matchbox 1-75 and Superfast vehicles vary in scale and can be anything between 1:50 / 1:110

GRADE:
C12 - Mint

NB: Our grading system was obviously created for Die-cast models and is occasionally applied to others (plastic vehicles, locomotives, rolling stock, etc.) to help give an indication of an items condition or comparison against a new one of the same type. In these instances it can only be used to compare appearance and not operational suitability.
