DESCRIPTION:
Hand Painted metal figures of fine quality Made in England by William Britain & Co. - Set of 6.

This is an original 1911 set of Mounted Bedouin Arabs in excellent condition.

The set comprises of: -

1 in blue burnoose, with scimitar, on a brown horse
2 in red burnooses, with scimitars, on brown horses
2 in green burnooses, with jezails, on black horses.

5 marching at the slope 3 x Red, 1 x Blue and 2 Yellow

There is some minor paint chipping but insuficient to detract.

The box lid display is an original Fred Whisstock illustration of the period.

Box is in fair condition given its age - colour is still bright but considerable scuffing to edges.
