DESCRIPTION:

Over 800 pictures and 30,000 words of captions tell the story of railways from the first Babylonian rutways to the 160 m.p.h. Tokaido Line trains. Atlas of the World's Railways covers the entire spectrum of rail travel. It is arranged in alphabetical order by country by continent, accompanied by maps and enrcihed by more than 600 photographs.

First published in 1968 this 1977 edition is in very good order with more than reasonable dust jacket.
