DESCRIPTION:
Made in England by Lesney and first released in 1966 this Mercedes Benz 230SL is in excellent condition in fact only one small chip to the boot paintwork gives rise to its downgrading. An exceptional model worthy of any collection.

BOX:
The original box (Type E3) is also in very good condition. Maintains its colour and firmness although lightly scuffed around edges and corners. Evidience of mild crushing has left barely visible crease marks which may iron out.

GAUGE / SCALE:
Known as 'Box Scale' (made to fit the box) Matchbox 1-75 and Superfast vehicles vary in scale and can be anything between 1:50 / 1:110

GRADE:
C08 - Excellent

NB: Our grading system was obviously created for Die-cast models and is occasionally applied to others (plastic vehicles, locomotives, rolling stock, etc.) to help give an indication of an items condition or comparison against a new one of the same type. In these instances it can only be used to compare appearance and not operational suitability.
